Description:

Another underrated, rarely offered plant although easy to grow. Piptanthus gives a colourful display in June and July when it opens numerous, bright yellow, erect flowers, similar to the one of the Laburnum. This is however a small-medium shrub with 3 lobed, more or less hairy, evergreen leaves. It thrives well any soil with good drainage and fast growing.
