Pyrus phaeocarpa is a small, deciduous tree with simple, pointed leaves that give a stunning display of colour during Autumn. It produces small, edible, orange pears (when it reaches 3-4 years old). An easy to grow tree. For optimum growth it is best to position it where it will receive full sun and partial shade. The Orange Pear can withstand temperatures as low as -20c.
- We have 40-50cm tall plants ready to be posted.
-
The intended main use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption. We always recommend further research to learn the different ways in which the food source can be prepared and consumed.
