With its dramatic, evergreen, fan-shaped leaves, Chamaerops humilis provides an exotic and tropical feel to your garden. The European Fan Palm is known to currently be the only palm native to Europe and is considerably smaller when compared to other palm trees. It is naturally a slow grower and prefers to be positioned in a sheltered spot such as a sunny border. It can be planted in a pot on the patio. One of the most cold tolerant palm species, withstanding temperatures as low as -15C. It is an easy to grow and a low maintenance plant.
