Indigofera kirilowii has light pink flowers, an elegant, deciduous, 1-1.5m tall shrub from Japan. During June- September, clusters of pea-shaped flowers bloom in long racemes, contrasting greatly against the pale green leaves. It is known to be one of the most ornamental late flowering shrubs, particularly stunning when grown up a fence or against a wall, transforming it into a something rather beautiful. Indigo Shrubs are hardy plants, tolerating temperatures as low as -20c, good for dappled shade.
