• Koelreuteria integrifolia is a deciduous tree with large, dissected leaves. The Chinese Flame Tree produces showy, yellow flowers with up to 1m long flower heads from late Summer and early Autumn. The tree has a wonderful orange Autumn colouration. It prefers a South aspect in the garden.

 We have 10-15cm tall, freshly potted plants ready to be sent. Please note that the young plants look like K paniculata with pinnated, hairy leaves until the age of 2 and a height of 1m or so! They will develop bipinnate, glossy leaves from then. We collected the seeds ourselves from K integrifolia (bipinnata), the plants are true to the species.
