Lindera obtusiloba is an elegant deciduous foliage shrub masses of small, yellow dioecious flowers in early Spring, appearing on bare branches. Renowned for its elegant orbicular ovate leaves which are trilobed terminally, transforming to one of the best autumnal deep-yellows available, even in deep shade, contrasting with the red-black, glossy fruits on the female plants. The Oriental Spicebush grows best in partial shade in a freely drained acidic or neutral soil with some moisture retention.
- We have excellent quality, 10-15cm tall starter plants to offer.
