The Psidium acutangulum is a pear shaped, yellow fruited species. The flesh of the golden fruit is incredibly soft and melts in your mouth. It can be pot grown and will fruit well as a 1-2m tall shrub in a 20-50 L pot, if kept on a sunny patio in the Summer and an unheated porch or greenhouse in Winter. Hardy to - 2C.
