Lovely, bushy, evergreen shrub with thick, dark green, leathery leaves and white or pink flowers, similar to the Oleander but on shorter peduncles. The common name refers to the Hawthorn but it is thornless. It flowers for months from early Summer into the Autumn. The coloured berries are highly ornamental and high in flavonoids, antioxidants and can be used as an addition to jams and jellies (tart when raw). It prefers a south facing, sheltered spot on many types of soil, hardy to - 10C.
- We have excellent quality, 15-25cm tall seedlings on offer.
