Chinese Fighazel is a very handsome, small tree, with long pointed, glossy leaves which remain on the plant for the Winter. An almost full "stamen-like", orange - puff flowers emerge from the buds as early as January, a beautiful sight mid- to late Winter. Sycopsis sinensis prefers slightly acidic soil, but it is so compact, it can be grown in a pot.
