Viburnum dasyanthum is native in China, very decorative with its large, leathery leaves, which turn pinkish-purple in Autumn, providing a perfect backdrop for the striking, red fruits. In May, clusters of small, fragrant, white flowers are in bloom which are fragrant. Rarely offered.

For optimum growth the Shiny Viburnum is best to position it where it will receive partial shade. It can withstand temperatures as low as -20c.
