Rock Rose is the perfect plant for those hot, sunny corners in the garden and they also work well on the patio in a pot. Cistus monspeliensis is a small leaved Rock Rose, with yellow eyed white flowers in June and July, a lovely sight. New flowers open every day, and no dead heading is needed as the petals fall off overnight from the previous flowers. The plant diffuses an exotic scent, reminiscent to a hillside in the Mediterranean. It only reaches 60cm in height, with a rounded, dense habit. Hardy to - 10C at least.
