Lonicera quinquelocularis (Translucent Honeysuckle) is a large deciduous shrub native to China and Afghanistan, reaching a height of 5m. In June, cream-coloured flowers bloom in clusters, followed by translucent to milky coloured fruits. This species is a hermaphrodite meaning it has both female and male organs and is pollinated by insects.
