The Prunus cerasifera is a twiggy, upright deciduous tree which produces masses of beautiful, white flowers in early spring. Orange, red or yellow plum-like fruits appear on the tree which can be used in so many ways, from eating straight off the tree, to making jams. This is a very adaptable, hardy species.
