Parthenocissus quinquefolia - Virginia Creeper

  • The Parthenocissus quinquefolia is a tall growing, deciduous climber. During the Summer months, subtle green flowers bloom. The flowers mature in late Summer to early Autumn into small purple-black coloured berries that are enjoyed greatly by the birds during Winter. The Virginia Creeper is well known for its vibrant show stopping autumnal display where its dull, green, five ovate leaflets turn a bright orange and red throughout Autumn. It is a vigorous self-clinging vine growing to a mature height of 12m and a mature spread of 4m-8m meaning it requires a large garden that has a lot of space and to be pruned often. It is perfect for covering garden walls.

  • We have excellent quality, 5cm tall seedlings on offer.
