Passiflora edulis is a charming, fruiting, vigorous evergreen climber. From mid-summer, its distinctive structure is made up of captivating large flowers with an explosion of purple filaments. Edible yellow to purple fruits can appear from late summer to autumn. The egg-shaped fruits not only make a striking feature, but they also taste divine. It can be used to climb up on plants or objects to create a green screen. Hardy to -2C.
