Quercus palustris is a strong, deciduous tree that originates from C & E North America. The Swamp Oak has a dense crown and beautifully shaped leaves with deeply pointed lobes that turn a vibrant red during the autumnal months. It produces eye catching acorns that are covered in distinctive stripes. It can reach to heights of 8-12m when fully grown but can also make a great bonsai.
