Pistacia vera is a drought tolerant small fruit tree with decorative, bluish foliage, native to the Middle-East. It tolerates many types of soil, even poor soil and temperatures down to -5C as an established plant. It can be pot grown or planted in the ground in an unheated polytunnel, greenhouse or conservatory. Pistachio is a dioecious tree, therefore male and female plants required for fruiting. We recommend to grow minimum 3 plants together.
- We have healthy, 5cm tall seedling plants on offer.
