A fast growing, semi woody perennial climber with soft, composed leaves which end in tendrils. The Chilean Glory Flower can very quickly cover a pergola from ground level to 2m in one season, but it does need some help with climbing. It offers countless beautiful, trumpet like, tubular, 1inch long orange flowers all summer long and well into Autumn. The green stems usually die back to the woody bit of the stem in winter and sprouts vigorously the next year. Eccremocarpus scaber prefers a humus rich soil and is hardy to - 5C.
- We have excellent quality, 5cm tall (cut back) starter plants on offer.
