Podocarpus macrophyllus is a beautiful, medium to large evergreen tree originating from China, Japan and Korea. The Brown Pine has dark brown bark that is often scaly on old trees and oblong leaves that can reach 5-14cm in length. Blue-black, fleshy fruits are produced between March and July.
