Aronia melanocapa 'Nero' is a small shrub that produces black berries (can be harvested as early as September) commonly used to make into excellent jams or can be used to make tasty muffins! The fruits are high in antioxidants. Self-fertile and tolerates a range of soil. The 'Nero' Chokeberry branches out freely and is suitable to be grown in a pot on the patio.
