Rarely offered, a more robust growing Sarcococca. It has decorative, shiny, long leaves with a pointed end and white flowers with long stamens along the second years growth. The blooms are followed by excellent pea sized black fruits, also showy. Sarcococca wallichii can grow up to 1.5m in height, with a bamboo-like appearance. Fully hardy when planted out or in a large pot, it prefers shady conditions, and it doesn't mind wet soils.
