Aesculus turbinata is a tree that has the largest leaves and lowered Chestnut. The flowers (inflorescences) can reach 2-3ft in length having a very attractive, yellow and pink colour. The Japanese Chestnut has leaves that can be as long as 3ft and 2ft wide, providing an architectural look. Not bothered by pests and diseases. Very rarely offered, excellent 40-50cm tall plant in a 9cm pot.
