  • We have carefully curated a collection of our summer favourites that we believe give the most vibrant Summer colours along with a bouquet of exciting fragrances.

  • The Summer Sizzlers collection contains one of each plant in either a 7cm or 8cm pot.

  • Chilean Myrtle – Luma apiculata:  An evergreen shrub that produces masses of pretty, pure white flowers in mid-summer, attracting the bees and butterflies. The flowers have a beautiful peach like scent and are the most extraordinary looking with long, curling stamens on the older flowers. The cinnamon branches are sculptural and contrast beautifully against its dark green leaves. Looks great planted in the ground, placed in the conservatory or it can make a stunning patio plant.
  • Pink hardy Ice Plant – Delosperma cooperi: A fast-growing succulent perennial that is a must for any roof gardens or rockeries as it creates a beautiful dense lawn. It can also make a beautiful addition to the patio if planted in a larger pot, as it continues to grow reaching the edge it will hang down like a trailing plant, creating a stunning sight of bright pink flowers which bloom from late May throughout the summer. During the winter months, the foliage turns purple and will return to its green colour in Spring. It is great for those in an urban environment as it can thrive on a windowsill or balcony.
  • Spanish Broom – Spartium junceum: An exotic looking evergreen shrub that can reach 6-10ft tall. The erect, bright green stems are rounded (rush-like) and mainly leafless (leaves are small, short-lived). The stems branch off at the top, ending with bright yellow flowering clusters on leafless racemes. The flowers are fragrant and pea-shaped, growing in clusters at the end of the branch ends. It can be grown on any soil but heavy clay. The plant has got a Mediterranean aesthetic, looking best against a brick wall. It is hardy to -10C but even if bitten by the frost, the base of the stems grow back.
