Leycesteria formosa 'Golden Lanterns' is a beautiful, deciduous shrub with arching stems that are covered with soft, subtle golden leaves. Hanging white and maroon coloured flowers bloom during late summer, followed by black-purple berries in the Autumn which the birds adore. The Yellow Pheasant Berry can make an excellent addition to woodland gardens, coastal gardens or even to a low maintenance border (the shrub can be easily pruned if needed). A an easy to grow, fast growing and hardy shrub that would brighten up anybody’s garden.
- The plants are now cut back for the Winter, with strong base, 20-25cm tall.
