Actinidia arguta Ananasnaya (pink fruited) and Cornell (pollinator) - a pair of plants - Pink Skinned Hairless Mini Kiwi

  • This hairless and pink skinned kiwi grape is not only delicious, but a nice ornamental plant. It comes together with a pollinator 'Cornell''. Actinidia arguta 'Ananasnaya' is also a vigorous climber with upright shoots and ovate-oblong leaves, originating from Eastern Asia. Ananasnaya produces bunches of gooseberry sized, dark pink skinned and green fleshed kiwis which have the most pleasant, sweet aroma and taste when ripe. They are known to have numerous beneficial properties and are extraordinarily rich in vitamin C. The attractive fruits have a thin reddish skin and can be eaten whole without the need to peel. Both male and female plants are needed to obtain the fruits. In May, bunches of fragrant white flowers bloom!

  • The intended main use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption. We always recommend further research to learn the different ways in which the food source can be prepared and consumed.

2x excellent quality, 20-30cm tall plants in 8cm pots: 1 Ananasnaya and 1 Cornell
