Brachychiton populneus - Kurrajong


  • The Brachychiton populneus is a medium sized evergreen that is native to eastern Australia. It is a great feature tree that can grow in most environments, perfect for small gardens.

  • When in flower during the summer, stunning bell-shaped red flowers hang from the tree amongst the glossy-green, deeply lobbed leaves. Decorative pods are produced in the autumn.

  • For optimum growth, the tree prefers to be positioned in full sun and over winter to be kept frost free.

  • Excellent quality, 15-20cm tall plant in an 8cm square pot.
