- The Caesalpinia spinosa is a small evergreen, originating from South America. The tree has very decorative, glossy, composite leaves and striking yellow –red flowers. During autumn, very interesting, spongy, orange seed pods appear which are of great visual interest. Small spines develop on the stem and the peduncle of the leaves. It is a great pot plant in Britain if overwintered frost free. Our Spiny Holdback would make a stunning addition to your garden, creating a great exotic corner on any patio. Hardy to -3C, it will grow in any free draining soil.
- An excellent quality plant in an 8cm square pot.
