Stunning when in flower, Disporum cantoniense is a medium sized arching shrub native to China, with pretty, dark green leaves and arching stems, it has a bamboo-like appearance. In the Summer, it produces handsome bell shaped purple flowers which are followed by decorative black fruits in Autumn. The Fairy Bell is great for shady places and can be grown in a large pot on the patio.
