This deciduous tree represents the end of Winter, starting to flower in mid-January, giving you a beautiful sight mid-winter (even with snow on the branches!). It is extremely hardy and has been grown for hundreds of years, the fruits a traditional food in the Far-East. The fruits turn yellow when ripe and are edible, however they do have an acidic taste. The foliage turns orange and yellow in Autumn. Easy to grow, not fussy to soil conditions and prefers full sun. It is suitable for pot growing.
- Cut back for branching.
