Despite its name, the Scotch Laburnum is only native to the Southern Alps and some parts of central Europe. It has up to 15inch long, dense, pendulous racemes with more than a hundred flowers on each, opening early summer, rather than in May. So, in many ways Laburnum alpinum is more superior to Laburnum anagyroides. Ultimate height is 4-5m. Hardy to at least - 20C.
- We have excellent quality, 10-15cm tall starter plants on offer.
