Viburnum furcatum is a slow growing, deciduous shrub that originates from Japan (can reach a height of 1-2m). It has thick, wrinkled looking foliage which, during the autumn months turns the most stunning deep purple. In May, clusters of small, fragrant, white flowers are in bloom. Later on in the year, the flowers turn to black fruits which the birds are known to love.

For optimum growth the Forked Viburnum is best to position it where it will receive partial shade/shade. It can withstand temperatures as low as -20c.
-
