  • We have carefully curated a collection of our wonderful berry shrubs which will add ornamental value to your garden during the duller days as well as providing food for the wildlife.

  • The Autumn Berry collection contains one of each plant in either an 8cm or 9cm pot.

  • Porcelain Vine – Ampelopsis brevipedunculata (5-10cm tall)An attractive deciduous climber, originating from China. The large climber is known as an ornamental plant due to its striking fruits that consist of the colours blue, purple and pink with brown or black speckles. It is fast growing (can reach up to 20m), best trained over an arch or trellis. The Ampelopsis has three or occasionally five lobed heart-shaped leaves that can grow up to 15cm wide and often colour in the Autumn. During late Spring, early Summer you will find clusters of small, green flowers that are followed by fruit during the Autumn. The Porcelain Vine is hardy and tolerant to extreme cold weather of up to -25c. It prefers to be planted in a warm sheltered spot where it will receive full sun.
  • Himalayan Dogwood – Cornus capitata (15-20cm tall): Cornus capitata is an elegant, large shrub that has evergreen foliage and creamy coloured flowers that open in the Summer.  The Himalayan Dogwood has strawberry-like, large, orange-red fruits that are edible as well as being an ideal source for squirrels and birds.

  • Hollyberry Cotoneaster – Cotoneaster bullatus (40-50cm tall): Cotoneaster bullatus is a medium to large deciduous shrub with deeply veined, dark green leaves that turn a vibrant orange and red during Autumn, creating a wonderful display. Early summer, pale pink, dainty flowers bloom which are then followed by bunches of bright red berries. The Hollyberry Cotoneaster is suitable for creating a screen or boundary hedges, growing at a medium rate.
