Clerodendrum bungei is an extremely showy, suckering shrub originating from China. It has aromatic leaves and enormous pink flowers during the Summer, with a diameter of 10-20cm. The Rose Glorybower looks spectacular against a south facing wall or in a border, or near a path. During the Autumn, it is best to cut the stems back to 3-4 buds as the old stems rarely survive the Winter (in the UK), it is also best to protect the base. By following these steps, it will allow the new strong growth, dark green foliage and buds to emerge in Spring. It is sensitive to late frosts.
- We have excellent quality, 10-15cm tall starter plants on offer.
