Parrotiopsis jacquemontiana (Himalayan Ironwood) is a highly decorative, large, deciduous shrub from the witch hazel family. Dainty, creamy white flowers cover the shrub from mid-late spring, contrasting beautifully against its bare branches. As the flowering season comes to an end, dark green, deeply veined, glossy leaves appear which provide interest throughout the remaining months. During autumn, the leaves turn wonderful shades of yellow, brightening up your garden during the colder months. The shrub has an upright growth habit and is easy to maintain as it requires no extensive pruning to keep its shape.
- We have excellent quality, 10-12cm tall starter plants on offer.
