Melia azedarach (Persian Lilac) is a rare, small deciduous tree that is native to Indonesia and Australia. Clusters of small, lilac, star-shaped flowers are in bloom during the spring-summer that arches to pendent panicles. The fragrant flowers are followed by green, then yellowing wrinkled drupes, persisting through the Winter. Bead like fruits remain long after the leaves have fallen.
- We have young 8cm tall starter plants on offer. These need to be kept in their pot until May 2025.
