Acer sterculianum is a beautiful maple tree that originates from Western Himalayas. The tree is deciduous and small in size, reaching a maximum height of 10-15m. It has large, hairy leaves that put on a spectacular display of colour during the months of autumn. It has decorative bark all year round which adds texture and in March, sulphur yellow flowers bloom. The Pungent Maple is fully hardy. For optimum growth it is best to position the tree where it will receive full sun.
