Vaccinium corymbosum - Blueberry Elliott

  • A deciduous shrub which has a rounded, bushy habit with multiple seasons of interest. From late spring to early summer, clusters of pearly white flowers bloom on the bare stems. In early-mid summer, an abundant of medium-sized, juicy, edible blueberries form amongst its leaves. The sweet tasting fruits can be eaten raw or can be used to make jams, tarts and preserves. The berries are known to be full of vitamins and antioxidants. Loved by not only us but by the birds and the bees too.
